Tears of a Dragon Chapter 8
Rex and Charlie talked to each other on their own as I watched TV. I knew it was private but I couldn't help but try and work out what they were saying but again, it sounded like they were talking another language. I sighed as I gave off and drifted off to sleep.
"So, did you get her?" Zekrom's voice echoed.
"No," Elizabeth spat "that damn Black was there and your brother but, Black was showing weakness, obviously not liking that we actually might win this war. I can't wait until we get Sunnyshore and kill the last remaining member of that black family before taking control of every Stone Holder there is. Quite simple."

My lips tasted of him as I licked them, still starring at the door from where he left. It was although after he went I just didn't know what to do with myself, like if I was lost. I shook my head trying to get myself back into the real world before pushing myself across the bed and attempting to stand before falling back onto the bed. I grunted as I pulled myself once more into a sitting position, feeling useless as I wasn't even able to stand.
"Rex!" I called, now having a great hatred for my bandaged ankle and brushed knee. Also knowing that whatever he was doing was done by now, it had been fifteen minutes.
"Yes?" I heard him

A door slammed with a loud bang. I heard people shouting in the distance and the usual noises of the city came to my ears. I growled to myself as pain fell over my whole body. I tightened my grip on whatever I was holding, leaning my head against it. It was sort and soothing as I pushed my head further, my face now deep in what felt like fabric. A hand then rubbed my hip before connecting with another and pulling me towards the thing I was holding.
"Rex?" I whispered into his shirt, taking a guess if it was him. I didn't need him to answer, the way his body gave off heat like a fire made me know it was him. I heard him purr slight

I pulled myself to sit next to him as he started to cry some more. I wrapped my arms around him and rested my head on his. It felt awkward not knowing what had just happened and the only thing you could hear was crying didn't make it any better. The drive to my uncle's home felt much longer then five minutes. When we arrived, nobody still didn't say anything. John got out and opened the door on Luke's side. He lifted his head and smiled at me, his wound wet with blood and tears. His eyes were full of pain and sorrow making me feel like I never wanted to let him go. Like he was a child and I needed to comfort him but I still let him

"He said what." Rex growled in a whisper, of course to try and stop himself from shouting. Not waiting for an answer, he stood and kicked the wall behind him in frustration. I stood up myself, now a little scared. "That damn " The rest of his sentence was said so quiet I couldn't make it out but I knew he was cursing.
"I-I d-didn't mean to upset you." I said, my voice shaking. He turned to look at me and I could tell he was starting to calm.
"It's not your fault, not Luke's either to be honest. It's my damn brother's fault for making him say that." He walked up close to me and then sighed as I backed away a little. He then p

As Rex had said, after registration we headed to change then headed to the main field at the back of the school. I think I remember someone saying that it was the size of two football pitches and I don't think they were quiet wrong. It was huge! Lucky for us, our group was near the start so we didn't need to run a mile or two to get to our place. I met up with Luke again who was sitting down on the grass in a blue t-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms. I wore a white tank top and black shorts as it was roasting in the summer sun.
"You ready?" I asked him while sitting down beside him.
"A little I guess," he grumbled "I still have to
HelicaseHelio and I were always sitting on the stairs, chatting about the lamina and occasionally making snide remarks about ribosomes. There wasn't much for us to do. Our job was to simply be, and let the RNA scribble down the letters on our foreheads when they came around every once in a while. Helio was a G, I was a C. It wasn't exactly fulfilling, I suppose. There wasn't much to be filled. So to pass the time, we talked.
"You ever wonder?" Helio asked.
"About...well...what's out there." Helio and I were rooted to the stairs, quite happily, but it was awkward to move in. He kind of twisted in the general direction of the closest pore. "Out in the cytoplasm."
"I haven't," I admitted. "What's there to wonder about?"
"That's exactly the thing. I have no idea." Helio sighed, gazing into the distance. "Somehow it feels like we play this huge, huge role in something important, but how can we when we don't even know what that something is? I want to be something that, that has
